Dresscode
Chic and elegant. If you have an outfit that you rarely wear because it feels overdressed, our wedding is the perfect occasion for it.
Exception: White or cream-colored dresses and white or cream-colored suits.
Travel & Destination
Interlaken is easily accessible by car as well as public transport.
However, the Trinkhalle is located in the heart of nature. For guests planning to wear high heels, we recommend bringing an extra pair of shoes suitable for walking on uneven terrain, as the Trinkhalle is only accessible on foot via forest paths.

By car
You can park directly at the Rugenbräu Brewery, located at Wagnerenstrasse 40, 3800 Matten near Interlaken. From there, it’s only a 10-minute walk to the Trinkhalle. If you’ve booked a room at the Waldhotel Unspunnen, you can park directly at the hotel (Wagnerenstrasse 15, 3800 Interlaken).
At 12:45 pm, you can join a „guide“ at the main entrance of the Waldhotel Unspunnen (just a three-minute walk from Rugenbräu), who will lead the wedding guests to the Trinkhalle.
For carpooling from Bern, please contact our bride maid or best man. There may still be available rides. 🙂
By train
If you’re arriving by train, your stop is Interlaken West. You can easily check train connections on https://sbb.ch. From Interlaken West station to the Trinkhalle is about a 25-minute walk. If needed, we can arrange a guide to accompany you.

By plane
We recommend flying into Zurich Airport (ZRH), Basel EuroAirport (BSL), or Geneva Airport (GVA). From there, you can either rent a car or travel by train to Interlaken West. There is a direct train connection from Zurich Airport to Interlaken West (approximately 2 hours, the fastest route). The train ride from Geneva takes about 3 hours, but you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva.
It’s about a 25-minute walk from Interlaken West station to the Trinkhalle. If needed, we can arrange a guide to accompany you.

Where can I stay ?
We recommend the Waldhotel Unspunnen. This charming historic hotel features classic Swiss architecture and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains. (Okay, the Eiger is quite hidden, but still!) It’s just a 10-minute walk from the Trinkhalle, has plenty of parking, and includes breakfast. We will be staying there from August 28th to 30th. We would love to join you for breakfast after the celebration and, for those interested, explore the beautiful mountains and lakes of the region together.
Despite it being peak season, we have managed to reserve a block of rooms at special rates for the period from August 27th to 30th, 2025 (minimum stay of two nights). If you wish to stay for just one night, please contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll find a solution together.
The room block includes single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms, as well as budget rooms (with shared showers and toilets in the hallway). We wanted to make sure there’s something for everyone. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. You can pay directly at the hotel.
If you need to cancel at the last minute, please contact the hotel directly
